BLOGGER TEMPLATES AND TWITTER BACKGROUNDS

12.30.2007

Of a new year?

Why is it that conscience isn't bothering me?

--=+=--

Remember that old saying damn if you do, damn if you don't? It is hard to live a life when you're being good to this person and that person is thinking that you're such an ass. And right now, a 180 degree turn was achieved and obviously she'll stick with what she thinks of me. She just hates me.

Well, at least now should be the right time to be angry at me.

--=+=--

Reeling the pie to throw it on your face.

Yes, the bitching never stops. Thank you.

--=+=--

(Magbabagong taon na, ganyan ka pa din? Magpakabait ka na Jay-r).

12.24.2007

Of a wii-tarded day.

Greyb. Raving Avenue Q. No boring moment. All actors rock. Can I see this again?

--=+=--

Oooohhh. I feel so hologs inside the theatre yesterday. Wii-tarded shirt. Faded maong. Sneakers.

And everybody is wearing suits, night gowns, and corsage.

Gee. Thank God nobody ordered from me.

--=+=--

Thank you for the 12 days of Christmas. You rocks. Woo.

12.20.2007

Of a coming Christmas.

Christmas is fast approaching and to everyone who's reading this.

iabot nyo na ang gift nyo sa kin.

--=+=--

My goodness, a very selfish entry.

Bwahahaha.

--=+=--

Seriously, I am not feeling Christmas. Am I too old for this? I know the point of Christmas but I still don't feel it. I don't want to soul-search or anything. I don't want to look for it. I just want to feel it. This holiday season feels like one of those days where I walk, I talk, and I scream.

I'm hating carollers. I haven't been in one of those dawn masses.

Scroogeness galore?

Bah! Humbug!

--=+=--

Must be the climate.

12.15.2007

Of a Xmas party.

I really wouldn't care if people would say that they didn't like the Christmas party last night.

It is just a matter of the person who is in it. If you went scroogie, that's your problem.

--=+=--

Thanks to everyone who helped and who came and who enjoyed the parte'.

Till next year? Hahaha.

Bwahaha. (Ang feeling ko. hindi naman ako yung nagpalakad nung event.)

--=+=--

(pasensya na sa pagka-epal ko sa gabi ng parangal. hahaha. nalasing ako sa walong baso ng tubig.)

12.13.2007

Of a sicky day.

I miss righting (omg, i forgot this one. this is spelled as 'writing', iho).

--=+=--

This is a big year for me. I really learned that not everyone is your friend. I really learned that patience can avoid bloodshed. I learned that God will make a way for people who needs His help.

And I know i'm mature right now because jr's jackass time is purely for fun and pleasure and not for hurting people (or so that's what I think and believe in right now).

--=+=--

Ooooh. 80's Christmas party tomorrow. We'll make this one fun.

12.12.2007

Of my goodness.

Somebody's selling those Starbucks 2008 planners for over a thousand pesos.

Tsk. tsk.

12.11.2007

Of a person who wants to go home right now.

Maximize your stay in coffee houses...

Do the number 2 during rush hour.

12.08.2007

Of a pre-Christmas entry.

It has been days.

Two things:

1. Let there be peace on earth.

2. Let us follow the golden rule.

--=+=--

yuck. drama.

10.17.2007

Of a second file.

Aaaahhh. The advantages of having no work. I'm on the verge of stopping KOL-andia. I've gone cheap, ergo less dvds (and to join the fact that our friendly dvd vendors in St. Francis just had a tussle with OMB commish himself. Game na!). Or no dvds.

And as i've said. I have no work. I have to be productive somehow.

--=+=--

A few months ago, i've been toying with our small-framed whiteboard here in the office. I came up with some fun facts for torpe-ism. I didn't really get an applause for it, but I think somebody should share something to the madlang-people. These facts may be wrong but who cares. It's all in the spirit of storytelling.

All information found here may or may not be of my experience. These is not a guideline or anything. It represents nothing.

--=+=--

Torpe-ism or being torpe is the act of a guy (or sometimes a girl) who can't express his feelings the right way. Usually this person doesn't do anything, he just says that he/she likes this person. That's it. No action done. The greatest thing that this person does is wave or say hi. He is not pathetic or anything, his/her mind goes blank whenever he/she's near
this person. Other symptoms include butterflies in the stomach, nervousness, dyslexia, shiver(ing), dumbness, lbm, fever, and in some cases death.

--=+=--

If you're the torpe-person, always remember one thing, the person your torpe-ing sees you with the ff. psych(s): stalkership, freak, a stupid person, intimidating, and in most cases, a serial killer (just kidding). --=+=--

Though i've said negative things for being torpe. It has its advantages too. The torpe'd person (or the receiver) is luckier (sometimes) usually. He/she receives unconditional material (or emotional) things. He/she could get a dozen roses, a dozen love letters, or a dozen shawarma. The torpe person would even make a shrine for him/her. Just make sure that
that person is harmless.

--=+=--

I would like to suggest to the torpe person to follow Kumpareng Nike's motto. Just Do It. If you would remember (again) that line from Can't Hardly Wait. Don't rely on destiny, it is still you that makes the choice. Remember Papa Albus to little Harry? Same thing.

I guess it's the fear of rejection that is taking place here. Well, if you're not taking the plunge then you would always think in the future, "If I only had done this or that.". At least if you did something, negative or positive, you get a response. And at least you'll have no
regrets.

And when he/she rejects you and you found out that he has a new bf/gf, you'll only say one thing, "Putsa, yan ang pinalit mo sa kin? That's your lost and not mine. Hindi mo ko matitikman!!!".

--=+=--

Don't let time fly. Destiny doesn't work that way. Really. Do it now. Think of it as if this is the last day of your life. I know rejection sucks. So what? Cry over it an move on. That's life. We are living in a reality. Fantasy happen in dreams. Dreams don't come true. It comes in
a different form.

--=+=--

Still, this may sound contradicting, but the move is still with you, yes you, you torpe you. Life is short.

--=+=--

Commercial: Have you seen the latest PBBCE? It felt as if I was watching some sleazy show. Riza had to dance that way. Ugh.

10.16.2007

Of a feelin'

Hate is such a big word. It creates big problems. It creates future problems in health, relationship and whatnot.

Let's start lovin' one another.

Join me as I officially invoke the Heart's day.

Four months left (?)...

dude, laki ng problema mo talaga. lakas ng topak mo...

--=+=--

Invoke? What-a-word.

10.13.2007

Of something I remembered.

Growing up is a big deal for everybody.

I didn't notice this up until the wee stages of my life. I was born
under the loving arms of my parents and basically, i'm unaware of the

Of a few days ago.

It seems that the climactic week that was had turned this week into a 180 degree turn. We're not expecting anything for this week. No fuzz with whatsoever. No nothing. That's it. Plain blank chuvaness ever.

--=+=--

Is this the time when we're waiting for Christmas? I guess we should start buying those new culinary stuff for mom, new tie for dad, and a pair of panties for lola.

Isn't it nice if we give stuff to everybody? I was raised "spoiled" (not really) and I wasn't really that self-centered (this is so self-righteous for me. ha-ha) --> I like this, contradicting statements.

I believe I should give something to the needy for this year. You know, be thankful for the rewards (naks!) that I received for this year. New year. New life. Continue with the good yin (or yang). Despite my moments I think I still qualify to be good.

So, what's up for Christmas? Giving something to the poor. Giving something to anybody close to me. And that's it? No, wait. Let's no forget the real spirit of Christmas. 13TH MONTH PAY + BONUS (ya think?). Hahaha.

Seriously, let's not forget that there's this high powerful "individual" that gave us the second chance in life. You know who i'm talking about. Let's not forget to thank Him of everything. Really. It won't hurt you. You just have to close your eyes and give a little nod.

--=+=--

Still, this week is still weird in all aspects. I don't know why. I'm sensing something big. Like Ocean's Thirteen and Master Showman.

--=+=--

How can you sum up your life?

I know this question is unlikely found-able in my thoughts. I'm not that old. I do reflect though, daily. I reflect about things that I should and I shouldn't have done during the day. I try to avoid them the next time it happens (which we all know would happen again without knowing it).

What is wrong with me? Is this my soul-searching for this year? Ha-ha.

--=+=--

Speaking of soul-searching, I know a few people who soul-searched and ended up changing their... uhm... visions in life. gender anyone?

--=+=--

I lost my happy place again. Something is wrong. I need to check my PKI meter. I need to use some bent metal hanger...

10.07.2007

Of a Sunday.

Congrats Archers!

One big Animo!

Of an October entry.

As i'm watching Saturday Night Fever for the moment, I just can't help notice the sixth battle of Ateneo - La Salle. Wow. Six battle. Like duh. Hahaha.

Actually it's Mejico and Pilipinas. Check out the flags. It's blue white and red versus green white and red.

This is so lame! Hah!

--=+=--

In light with the recent Desperate Housewives brouhaha, I just don't get it. When they kill the med industry, we react. But when we're being BS'ed from other forms of whatever we let it pass by. I've seen a lot of Pinoy pop reference and some are really nasty and that's it. Nobody cares. Oh well. I'm not sourgraping (again?) or anything but I just want everything balanced.

Oohhh!!! Utopian... not.

--=+=--

What's wrong with me? I've been raring to write something since my last entry and now. I can't write anything.

Whatta loser. Har har.

9.22.2007

Of a back to usual?

Things haven't changed much in the office. Same old, same old. I guess I'm done with my part of the bargain. I don't know if they would give theirs. Who cares. I'm in a better mood now.

--=+=--

Before anything else. This is officially my fourth weekend. That's 48 hours for the first weekend and three straight 32-hour weekend work. And I also had my third sick leave for this month. Oh boy. If this will continue, i'll sell my body to the nearest bidder. hahaha.

--=+=--

High school musical 2 is the current high of some pips here in the office. We love singing the remixed version of you are the music in me and I love the part of "What about us?" in gotta go my own way.

Loved the music Hate the nude girl.

--=+=--

I feel old. Well, not the old but it shows when I'm in the office and we talk about the past. And my body is even giving up on me. I can't do consecutive late nights anymore.

--=+=--

Time sure flies fast. Imagine, two months and I am officially one year in this "insert expletive here" office. Haha. <-- e akala ko ba wala nang work sa usapan. Ha? Ha? Ha?

Fine.

--=+=--

Btw, I want Wii. I want it na. Now na.

9.19.2007

Of a zombie that dances Michael Jackson's thriller.

Hooray! Hooray! This is the day.

Can you see me? Can you? Can you?

No? Open your eyes.

--=+=--

Hello. I'm back. Bwahahaha.

I am not angry right now. I'm frustrated again. And again. And again.

--=+=--

Apparently the rest of the PRA pasaway squad are completely complete. Before anything else I made my "professional" suggestion to my prestigious second irk-mate. He only said that he'll forward it to the management or whatever. I don't know if you're really doing it but you're not gaining respect from me in any way if you don't do your duties well. Especially now that you'll have your first official task. Thank God you'll be able to bill one for the team. 8 hours is respectable.

Not. (Even I can do what you're doing. Bwahahaha. Yabang!!!)

--=+=--

Anyhoo, I wasn't expecting this kind of action from this third person. He was working already as a mainframe programmer since the Y2k area. And he just got back from a long "vacation". Now, as expected, I won't be respected. You see, if you've been working that long and this newbie "asks" you to do work, he wouldn't do it. Obviously, ego will kick in.

--=+=--

What happened was, there were two (actually there were a lot) abends/problems two days ago and I asked person one and person three to document the abend. Since they have the same resolution I was expecting person three to step up somehow because he should know what happened. So, I waited the whole day and only one person (who is somehow doing his job) documented a problem. Apparently person three asked person one to do it for him. And he gave me this look. He gave me this appaling look that hey-you-have-no-right-to-ask-me-what-to-do-and-whatnot-to-do. Then F you you person you. That is just one simple task. If ever God permits that you end up with on-call support, I am expecting a lot of BS from your work. You'll surely get feedbacks from me. From the time that up to the last period. Please, don't be so arrogant. I don't care if you're "holy", I am just doing my job. And please, don't give us this bull "Gusto kasi ng onsite na matutok ako sa development kaya hindi ako makapag-prod support". If you've written flexibility in your resume, you should cross that out. Really. It doesn't fit you. It's like telling us that me and my batchmate aren't getting any development work. FYI, sometimes we get three projects each and at the same time we're doing production support. So, you're just doing "palusot" reason again. Just like the other two.

--=+=--

I'm giving your shit a couple of weeks before I do my actual decision. Actually, my body is tired with what's happening. I am not happy with what's happening. Don't expect me to last in this company. 15 months to go my friend. (actually i'm up if they paid more, but na-uh). Revenge is sweet if it's served cold.

--=+=--

Here's another suggestion my precious company, why don't you place people in our team that are really willing to work. We don't need skills, they can easily be taught. We don't need problem employees. Anyhoo, my suggestion is they should place those newly-hired employees to us. At least, they have a bond (like us), and they can't do anything about it (like us). Apparently the only difference is we love what we're doing. We put our hearts into it.

Damn... money talks.

--=+=--

Btw, third person, please don't email me something with a scripture from the bible. I don't need that. Really. This is work. Please don't mix work with religion. That is morally unjustifiable.

--=+=--

And looks like my blog's leaked to person one's batch / batchmate. Good for you.

9.15.2007

Of a back to the past.

I guess we all need some audience sometimes. Especially when we're trying to make a point and nobody cares. Even though, and you are one hundred percent sure, that you are right. I am not going to make an apology or anything with what i've written. If I didn't do that, i'll be dead by now. Or worse have more pimples!

--=+=--

If I would rant out loud (as in waaayyy loud) in the office, everyone would consider me very unprofessional. So, I did the best thing that I could do. Rant here. I am ready to take the consequences (if ever there's one) but I still feel that these rants are still considered private and personal.

--=+=--

Now, I really do have the greatest audience at home. She's my mom. She's the greatest critical thinker that I know. All that's happening to me this week, she knows. And she told me a few pointers on how I would deal with this one. And I was really glad that I talked to her. Imagine, she was able to get the gist of the situation in less than an hour and at the same time, I got some enlightenment.

--=+=--

And there's this one thing that she told me that really stuck in my head. How to end this "war". And hopefully the war ends soon. Or else, I would be thinner than ever. I would have to change all my pants with size 25 (hahaha).

--=+=--

If you complain about something, be sure that you have suggestions.

9.14.2007

Of a pinwheel is for keeps.

Ohh. Miyazaki. I wub miyazaki. La lang.

--=+=--

Letters letters full of letters. Can you differentiate a bug and a bee? Who should it bee? My sweet darling baby? U-huh. C'mon, listen to the tune of pamparampam.

--=+=--

Revolutions. Return. Crusade. Three is sweet.

--=+=--

Back to being me again. Jay-r who loves to complain. Jay-r who loves to be a bitch. Jay-r who only wants to keep the team at its best.

--=+=--

As previously mentioned, I am officially ranting our newest-est team lead. Background first, he came from a Japanese company. I was told that he handled half of the floor. Sadly though, he was only good with papers, etc. When it comes with people, he suck.

So, we had this meeting like two weeks ago and we were there lashing out what we hate. And I learned that, he can't control us. Especially me. It came into a point when I had some P.I.'s into the air. And what did he do? He raised his voice. It is a way of telling me that he can't handle bad words. He could've said, "Hey, no smart ass languages here". But no, he didn't do that. He fought back.

And then he hated my wonderful idea of writing letters. or e-mail to everyone. He just gave me this smart-alec reply "pag sa email kasi maraming ibig sabihin yan, dapat pag-usapan natin yan". So, it came to a point that they had to make fun of me making mails. I don't get that. Really. We also have meetings but I didn't see anyone writing the minutes of the meeting. And why should I be doing that? Duh.

And also that point when all of us had to understand that crying little boy (look at him right now, he complains a lot and it came to a point earlier that somebody is doing his job for him, and there were around three people who were helping him. Talk about being spoiled. From what I heard he was number three in his batch. Pweh!... hhhmm... plagiarism). He loved that boy so much that no beating came out of him to this boy. That boy never knew he was wrong. That boy still is a special child in our team (one of our teammates had to teach him almost everything to the point of sacrificing the team's billing hours). So, I heard he was this great person in that previous company and nobody will be in the edge of alanganin. Well,me and my batchmate doesn't see that.

And I checked his billing hours for the week (I still have to verify this). Looks like he's not doing anything. Zero billing hours? (I hope i'm wrong). Still, a lot of people are noticing that he's not doing anything. Aaahhh... the art of doing nothing. The shame.

--=+=--

Moving on, I am currently on email flame with my team lead and here's the thread of flame-mails.

-

Hello.

I'll be coming in before eleven.

Even though that I know that you don't like me doing e-mails with regards to confrontation, etc. i'll still be pursuing this. I believe this is a professional way of dealing things.

Our team may know about that last mail sent yesterday by Glen. I didn't read it the whole day because I know that something is coming. I was right. I read it during the night and I was disturbed, dismayed, and felt angry reading it.

I'm not stupid and we aren't but, for me, that mail is not right coming from him. One of the things that i've noticed is that it felt that he doesn't know that he's wrong. I'm not saying that he is wrong but I hate people who do things like that (like sending that kind of mail).

I don't want to give suggestions or anything regarding actions for that. I'm just so frustrated right now.

--

So here's his answer.

--

Hi!

Thank you for your email. I don't know if you mean that what **** has written isn't an excuse, if so, I agree. Anything that he has written isn't really an excuse. When we had our meeting, he himself acknowledges that he knows the background or nature of his work.

Anyway, keep your cool. Let's not get carried away with the situation. Instead let's help one another and do what you think is the right thing to do as employees of this company.

For the mean time, being a senior employee than ****, I ask for your understanding if wouldn't be too much to ask for.

Hoping for your support.

--

So, what did I get? Nothing. Instead, he told me to adjust for that little brat bastard. And how about me? 48 hour weekend support? I'm effing drained you incompetent fool!

So... here's my angry reply.

--

No, i'm not going to work with somebody who has no proper work ethics.

I am not going to let this pass. I've done a lot of understanding already.

It is not actually my job to understand my peers. I'm just a programmer in this company.

I'm not paid for management work or human resource work.

I've already forwarded this complain to the HR department.

--

An angry mail should be answered with an angry mail too. Just a little background. I was trying to cool off actually when I read that mail but my heart and mind says no. I felt that he's not even taking me seriously because of my jolly personality. I did send that brat's email to the HR, and told me to cool off too. At least they know what's happening. Honestly, i'm on the verge of just breaking out. I don't know if I could still contain myself. I was also told that they are looking at each other's asses because they are new. But that's just shit. My point here is, he is in the position as a team leader, a part of the management. Do I have to tell him directly that "Hey! Do your effing job. You're not doing anything all day. And you want me to understand you and your brat? F you, you shit."

And again, this is his "angry" reply:

--

Okay, I will not force you if that is the way you want to do it.

In my opinion, the person's work ethics will not improve if you will stay that way. You must try, as I have said earlier, you being more senior than him should understand his actions considering this is his first job. If you have to insist that you're through understanding people, I cannot do anything about it. Understanding him is not "management work or human resource work" if I may quote you, I believe it is called "getting along with your collegues"or "pakikisama". Then again, if you're through "understanding", then so be it.

If you really still believe that it is not your job to understand your peers, then who do you expect to understand them for you? Do you expect me to understand him for you? If you refuse to understand not only your peers but also other people, how would you expect them to understand you back? Also by refusing to understand, only means that you're mind is closed to others opinions, ideas, and their behavior included. You're only focused on what you believe in and tend to forget other people's perspective. If at this point you still believe it's not your job or it's "management work or human resource", I am resting my case.

If you have already forwarded this complaint of yours to HR, well I guess I cannot do anything about that.

I just want you to know that I am not arguing with you or anything, I am just citing my opinion. If you any reaction or comments, please feel free to email me.

--

And my answer...

--

Excuse me. I've tried. Okay? I know i've done my part. Isn't it insulting that he will tell everyone that he only had help with Ian? Did you even know that I tried to understand him when he was new. He doesn't respect me and what do you expect from me? Would I tell him that he shouldn't do this or that? I don't think so.

Being new is a bad argument. If you're basing it this way, then i'll answer about what work I had. My first work was from a call center, it was the first time I encountered that kind of work. Night shift and I had to extend my work hours because it was needed. My point is I never complained with work. If you want complains then i'll tell mine to give you information, just to make it clear to you that having this on-call is also of my disadvantage.

And regarding "pakikisama". That argument again for me is bad. If you're for "pakikisama" and work will be compromised then I can't argue with that. That's what you want. But tell me. Just tell me right now, if I don't know how to get along with my colleagues then I'm sure I shouldn't have many friends in and out of SVI. Just to inform you, I was even the one offering our services to Glen's batch regarding help during training. So, tell me. Is that non-"pakikisama"?

You know what, you're being fallacious. Tell me, when you say peers, you say everyone right? I mean I'm just irked with one person. I told you that it's not my job anymore because i'm giving up with the idea that I could help him. And why are you giving me questions as answers? Why can't you give me your straight opinion? Please, don't give me questions as an answer. I'm not giving in on that.

All in all, this is my point. If I may, "bakit mo bine-beybi sya?". Have you guys ever told him or talked to him about what's happening? I feel that it's the other way around. If you did talked to him, then you should've told me about that right now. Apparently not. I am still wondering why we are giving him special treatment and let those things that he did go. If I may again, "kinukunsinti nyo lang sya". I feel that you are not taking me seriously.

Well, who am I to decide what you guys want to do. And if you want things to be done this way then I won't argue anymore. It would be futile and useless.

In case, you're wondering why i'm like this. I'm upset. I can't work and I have no focus in anything.

--

I am drained with regards to this stupid team that we're having. I am in a brink of breakdown. Really. My defense mechanism is telling me to have fun and take a rest. And I know I won't get that luxury.

Mr team leader, I am really paid to be a programmer. It is really not my job to understand you guys but i've been doing it otherwise. And my main point above all is you are the Team Lead. Please do your job well. You are being paid with loads of cash and you aren't even doing your job well.

This may sound so selfish but he should understand me. Instead of biting back, he should see what's my point of view. No, i'm not yet a senior programmer, yet I feel one.

--=+=--

Now, i'm more depressed than ever.

9.13.2007

Of another one-derful day at the wizard of olongapo.

Oh yeah. Lovely day. Look Dick look! Dick look dick! He's gonna marry her someday. Eh? I forgot the lyrics but it sounded like that.

Whatever!

I'm so fetch.

Hahaha.

--=+=--

I just love Star Wars. Really. And Indiana Jones. And The Matrix. And even Enteng Kabisote.

But why?

They all have sequels (or prequels you sanamabits you).

--=+=--

Ta-ran. I'm ranting again. Actually, this is hate i'm having. I've been trying to be positive the whole time around but I just can't let this go. If I see something wrong, I have to prove that they are wrong. In facking fact, i'm so low in morale right now I wanna sing Nanghihinayang ten times in different sonatas.

First off, the letter. I am posting his letter on my blog. I don't want to be baseless or anything. I am posting this because i'm pissed off. Yes, I am immature too and I can't believe that there are people like this at the age of 22. I'm not saying it's your fault or anything, I just can't believe it's happening. Everything that you read here is letter by the letter, in case something wrong happens, I am going to remove it. Also, some disclaimer, it may get ugly below. Hahaha. Shet.

--=+=--

in short... un lng po muna... kpag may npansin kayu sakin informnyu lng ako pero... wag love letter a... friendly letter lng hehe....

PS: ok lng love letter kung chiks mgpapadala hehe....

--=+=--

Ok. First actual paragraph. It says that I am good. Ok fine. Thank you for that. But after that it goes bad. C'mon. Why are you so particular with time with regards to work? Is that your training? I don't believe you got it from UST. My mom isn't like that. And almost all the people I know aren't like that.

kpag ngtrabaho naako ng straight pgdating ng 7-8 hrs (mgansa 5-6pm) depende sa oras ng pasok ko

Straight. Wow. Straight. As in alcoholic drink? Glug-glug??? Yeah, right. You are not making me effing stupid. When you started, I noticed (not just me but a teammate of mine too) that you take your breakfast. Let's say that's one hour. Ok. We know you're a growing boy. So, you need to eat... at the pantry. So, after that. Lunch. Another hour perhaps? So, that makes it, what? Two hours break. Wow. But wait, there's more. There's meryenda time. Let's say 30 minutes? Wow. And you time in and time out for exactly nine hours. He usually comes in at ten before and goes home at 6 pm maybe? I'm sure that he doesn't go beyond 7.

e bumabagsak na katawan ko at medyo nakakaramdam na ako ng pagod... medyo d na rin gumagana utak ko nito... kyaang nagyayari gusto ko na rin umuwi.

You know what. I like this too. But I have responsibilities. This is the real world boy. This is just bad reasoning.

You shit. that guy who told you that you're playing when you get home is me. Why can't you say it you little shit. I just hate these type of people. Puro patama. But no balls. You have the guts to write this letter, then go for it all the way. We are not stupid. And FYI: Your friend and teammate Dan told me about this one. He may be an unlikely source but all the things that are coming out of his mouth are usually true. God, we don't care about your personal shit. Why don't you do it this way. You finish your work, you go home later than usual, and you bypass your play. I play too, but I set aside work from play. Time management is the key.

See. He's not really interested with the abends. Let them pop. Everywhere. Does he care? Of course not, Urgent work like development work is his priority. And i won't be wondering when those people from the States would call us and tell us "Hey, we are pulling out from your company, you people are so effing incompetent". And in my defense regarding this stupid late work that he gets. He has no other tasks for that moment. Why the hell is he complaining that there are two tasks that need to be done.

in short... (hehe ang haba nun) as much as possible gusto ko maiwasa ung pg ot(pgwork ng sobra sa oras) sapamamagitan ng pgstart ng trbaho ng maaga at cyemprekung mgcoconcentrate ako lam kong matatapos ko man bago ako mg 8hrs sa office. pero sakaling mayemergency nga na task willing nman ako mgextend ng hours.

Don't we all want this reason. I mean everybody likes this idea. Even Mahatma Ghandi and Adolf Hitler likes this idea. Even my pet invisible monkey too believes in your idea. But c'mon. Give me an effing break. This is the worst plea i've heard in years. Hello? In our team, everyday is an emergency. You dig?

P.S.ung training namin.... may 1 timena ng OT ako til 730 once(ungmahirap na cobol prog 4 ata un)... pero almost all the time natapos ko nman ung task na d na need mg OT

Ha! I forgot to tell. There's usually no OT pay when you extend your hours in our team. Have you ever opened your eyes little boy? Example, an abend pops. You work for it for five hours (you might do this because you are new) and you can only bill two hours for it. So, where's the three? Charge it to experience. And pls. Don't gloat that measly 730 pm during training. Here's mine: I had to go home at eleven pm, not once, not twice. I even went to the office one Saturday morning to finish my work. And this was during our training.

sori nga pla kung medyo inaantok ako sa training... d ko nman makontrol un... pg d ako minsan nkakasabay nkakatulog ako .

Don't we all want to do this. I mean. If I can I will. There's just no R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

You know what. This is not our problem. You don't have to share this to us. We have our own personal problems too. Do you think, we love doing weekend support? C'mon. Do you think we enjoy this? Of course not. But this is our responsibility. And dont' give me shit regarding sickness. I'll start mine. When I was a baby, I was in an incubator for quite some time, I kicked my mom's appendix and I had her bad blood or something. I had mumps, measles, german measles, amoeba, primary complex (which leads to TB), Hepa A, I have a bad heart, Spasms, Allergic Rhynitis, and other shit that I don't remember. BUT DO I COMPLAIN???? No.

Still. This is not our problem, really. In fact, I should send this letter to our GM or HR. Have you ever thought about the idea that I am working 9 hours per day for 5 days and almost 48 hours per weekends? Where's the justice???? Where? And you. You shit. You even included your yaya. My God. What's wrong with you. In the first place, you will work at home. You're not going anywhere. You work at home. Do you understand that? Home. H O M E. Home.

pero understandablenman kung may abend tayu naaabot ng umaga o madaling araw.... ok lng sakin un d nman madalas un....

Ha. You wish.

--=+=--

Yes. Call me a bitch. A whore even. Call me something that you can't call. But, I just find it unfair with the following points:

1. He doesn't know that he's wrong. He didn't even apologize with the whole shit. It feels like he's even trying to fight back at me. You think I won't? Bring it on bitch.

2. He mentions my name at the start and all his arguments pertain to me. What the fuck was that. If you have something to say to me, tell me. Don't give me this type of letter. You shit. I'm not happy with the team right now.

3. Kunsintidor na Team Lead. Isa ka pa. I'll make yours tomorrow. Pero, for now, please, wag mong i-baby ang mokong na ito. Wait. You don't understand that. I am the enemy nga pala.

--=+=--

Oh well, so much for being concerned with our team. Still, I am standing my ground. I will fight for this team no matter what. If all goes to worst, I have so many ways to fix this.

--=+=--

Wow. long.

--=+=--

Pabati portion. Hi baby! Hahaha.

9.11.2007

Of a fun fun fun day all day.

Everyday. Fun. Fun is composed of three letters. F and U... and N. hahaha. What the? But it is. U C? I C? Mendoza? Hahaha.

Full of nonsense crap. Here, there, and everywhere as that famous group told us through the years.

--=+=--

And... listen to 99.5 from Mondays to Thursdays at 9 pm to 12 am. It's DJ Tado, DJ Angel, and DJ Ramon ON THE HOUSE! hahaha.

--=+=--

Let's get it on.

I just made up that useless introduction to make most people think that i'm writing some useless stuff. Boy, do I really love my work. Really.

--=+=--

To anyone who knows what's happening, I guess it would be better if we could keep this to ourselves. Still, I want to rant.

You see, after the departure of our seasoned programmers slash team leader for our team, a new guy arrived. I won't point his bad stuff for now. I'm not in the mood for that one. I wanna go with someone else.

--=+=--

You see, we have a new member in our team. And it looks like we have a problem with him. I just don't see the point why time is so much of a factor with regards to work. I feel that you're just cheating yourself if you do this. This is the first time for me to see such a person who works clockwork. You just work in a span of time that the company gave you. Let's say company says, you work eight hours a day and that's it. You do that. You don't care if there's extra work. You don't care if you have to finish things. As long as you've done that eight hours. You're off.

And I really find that wrong. It shows that you don't love your job. And it feels that you shouldn't work. Really.

Up until now, i'm still hating the fact that one of his arguments is that his mom is going to talk to us about the amount of work that he's having. First and foremost, he hasn't gone beyond that eight hours. So, why the hell am I hearing that he's having a hard time. I also don't see the point that he can't go home late but he can do overnights. C'mon, that's just stupid.

Now, case in point. Health. I am completely comparing myself to him for now. Why? I was like him in some points. I am a mama's boy (and proud of it). I am underweight. I am capable of being bullied. But during those time when I worked in an IT company, I didn't complain about the work hours (I was nightshift). I have to stood ground with my parents that this is my decision and they have to respect it. Whether it kills me or not. That's my whole point.

And please. We are in a workplace. We are not in a playground. We are not in school. This is work. If your boss tells you to work this and you have to finish this at the end of the day. Do it. Why? You're scared of being layed off (or worse, getting fired). But this little boy doesn't understand that. If you've been terminated by a company, it will be hard for you to transfer to a proper company. Somehow, you'll be blacklisted.

As i've said, I see myself in him. But, not the part when I complain my work at home and ask for mama or papa's help. And crying doesn't help. Really. Why? He is just doing the tip of the iceberg.

And my mind still doesn't accept that this incident happened.

--=+=--

Now, I really don't want to help somebody who see things this way. This is just bull. Really. Imagine, I spent HOURS helping this little kid (Oh, you can see it in my man-hours --> helping the little boy) and what would I hear from him. I didn't help him.

Yes, I am sulking and sour-graping. So much for helping. This serves as a lesson for me. You'll be lucky if you get something from me (i'm not mayabang. i'm hurt).

It hurts you know. Kailangan pa bang i-memorize yan?

--=+=--

On a lighter side... High School Musical three is on the works. Working title is HSM3: High school students are THIS horny.

--=+=--

Hey baby, iloveyou forever! Mwah! Mwah! Mwah!. ano to pabati? hahaha.

9.04.2007

Of a hell weekend.

Tan-tantinin. I'm back! For good?

Eh?

--=+=--

My work is killing me. Really.

I happen to be the buena mano for our 48 hour weekend support. And for some extension of bad luck from the recent lunar eclipse, it became 72 hours. I am officially physically emotionally spiritually sensitivity challenged. 10 hours of sleep + itsy bitsy naps is not enough.

And looks like this will be me in three weeks straight, minus 24 hours from 72 hours. Carry five, square root of 856, derivative of 63464x2 and acquiring the hypothenus of Owen Wilson's nose.

--=+=--

Thank God for local showbiz or else I won't have any connections to the real world. Plastics everywhere.

So fetch.

--=+=--

I'll be disposing some dvds and cds and anybody who wants to attain them, just pm me.

No... guys. No porn. Some pirated stuff.

8.26.2007

Of a nuffin...

I finally decoded the card.

During our stay in Bohol, my baby and I managed to pick a lost SD card in an airport (or somewhere that I don't actually remember). Just last week, I was able to extract (hehe) the files inside the card and lo and behold this card is owned by a guy.

There's a scandal inside. A girl was taking a bath and this maniac guy video'd her. She was kind of shy but she was able to do an ocho ocho during the one minute take.

I swear this was a shocker-non-shocker for me. Guys...

--=+=--

Don't you hate it when some higher form of living creature picks you up and then take all the liquid out of you?

And you can't do anything about it.

Actually you can still do something but to a certain point only. You don't want this to go out of hand. As much as you hate , you might want to keep quiet and do some bash sessions later on (the process is hate but the aftermath is sweet).

--=+=--

I miss mah baby. Two months left.

8.20.2007

Of the letter w.

This work is killin' me.

listenin' on Under Pressure on my Ipod green giga
i feel the beat but i can't find my playa
24/7 is how i shouldn't do it
given the chance i wouldn't pick it
i'm just human and i'm nobody
but we know sometimes we want anonymosity
rain or shine, day or night
doesn't matter how i might

i am made of bones
this is me
i am made of meat
this work is killin' me

there's unfairness and real inequality
just takin' spit without liberty
sleep deprivation is my only friend
remember that song about comprehend?
despite everything i am strong
i think of other things like wearing a thong
i think i see the better things in life
this is the only way to bypass this sad life

i am made of bones
this is me
i am made of meat
this work is killin' me

8.19.2007

Of another rainy day.

And I thought these rains would make me happy. That ain't true.

--=+=--

I don't know what's happening to me lately. Is it because of that last long Thursday. Is it because of that negative aura that everybody is emitting daily lately. Is it because that I think I have a problem but I don't know if it is really me or whatever. Am I in drama mode again. All of these insecurities are make me more pathetic each day. It is really hard to keep such things.

Or maybe... maybe it is just me.

--=+=--

At work, there was a "hirit" if why I was so "malikot" or something in that sense. Somebody joked it was ADHD. And I told them I had ADHD (and I think I still have. don't forget me being childish too.) In my defense (don't we all have?), I'm aware of this. That's all.

This entry is so lame I feel like i'm a sexy actor who tries comedy in Bubble Gang.

--=+=--

Bad, bad, bad entry. That's all I can think of. I need chocolates.

8.15.2007

Of some things in mind.

An answer to my previous post (i sound crazy). I miss you too! Really. I really do hope we could just step into some floo network or something and we could totally meet-up in a blink of an eye. Three months ain't that far. I'm waiting...

--=+=--

Foreign celebrities left and right! Wee. Despite them being guys. I really don't care. We had Josh (papable sya). And then there's the recent Tarantino (I love Pulp). And coming in October (?) Kevon (or is it Kevin?) Edmonds.

Yey. I have no money and I can't watch that concert. Oh well.

--=+=--

I wuv rains. Really. Even if we could gain sniffies and colds and flu and such. I really don't care. I love the music of raindrops (Gene Kelly is that you?). And the temperature. I wuv cold.

Robotism here I come. Five weekday schedule. 48 hour weekend support. What more can I ask for? Is it possible to kill without even getting jailed or something? I really don't want that. C'mon. Your work took over your life. I was just asking for a five day a week job. Not slave duty. I felt like i'm Zach from Scrubs.

--=+=--

Wednesday. Rainy Wednesday. Ooohhh... A Clockwork Orange too.

8.03.2007

Of an absence.

I went on leave today at work. I don't feel good. Really.

I don't know what.

Burnout?

"katulad mo... ako rin ay nagbago... di na tayo tulad ng dati... ... na sandali... o kay tagal na kitang minahal..."

--=+=--

One word for the archers (err... words)... you can't win against the uaap board or any body that is related to uaap. Just play good and hard.

--=+=--

Stop whining and let's get it done.

7.28.2007

Of another color.

I feel stupid today.

I'm wearing t-shirt, maong, and black leather shoes.

Stupid.

7.26.2007

Of the color orange.

I think i''ll never wear my orange polo shirt again.

--=+=--

The last time that I used this was last November. Remember that tremendous typhoon where it caused blackout(s) everywhere. Yep, that's the one.

--=+=--

Anyhoo, look at the bright side. It rained. It poured. I never used my umbrella and I don't have the sneefies.

--=+=--

Sadness. We lost to Ateneo. I heard it was really a nice game. Congrats.

7.22.2007

Of a some kinda spoiler.

(What???? Another HP entry? You are out of your mind boy.)

Should I write my sentiments regarding the book? No. Or i'm not sure.

I was thinking earlier the saddest part of what had happened.

What's next?

We all know that it had been a great ride. We have to accept the fact that this is just a "fad" (just like the beatles and meteor garden, hehe) for some people.

Will Rowling do a Tolkien? Where he expanded his realm? Or Rowling would just make new stories? Or we could find a new hero.

And the thing is, the whole world was really swept by this lightning-scar-boy. From the pope to the CD crowd.

Oh well.

--=+=--

Remember me in 8th place? (check out my old entries) I found out the truth. I should've been in that position. I should be in third place. Could you believe that? I rule. Hehehe.

--=+=--

I just found out from my baby that there is a SONA later. Isn't it nice to have a president? A point person for all our problems. It is so easy.

I don't have a job. Blame the president. I am poor. Blame the president. I wasn't able to buy HP7 because of the budget. Blame the president. GMA 7's Marimar remake suck. Blame the president.

--=+=--

I miss "blogging". I miss writing useless trivia. I miss writing stupid things. I miss writing with bad grammar. I miss using the company's bandwidth for personal use.

--=+=--

Thank God for St. Francis. I have seen old movies that I know I can't acquire from our local video stores. I've finally seen North by Northwest, The Sting, Bram Stroker's Dracula, Duck Soup, And Now For Something Completely Different, and other stuff.

--=+=--

I also found out (just now, i'm watching the news) that some schools are suspended later. I miss school.

Regarding school, backtrack 6 years ago, I was talking with my cousins and my mom. And they asked me if I could choose two things, office or school, what would it be? I answered school and they answered office.

I can now answer office.

--=+=--

Sadness. My alma mater lost earlier today. Oh well, it is still early.

Of the things that happened.

First off.

I guess it's safe to say that we should avoid placing our personal views and comments regarding that book.

Not all of us can read as fast as all of us. Eh?

Or write a spoiler as a heading.

Kawawa naman yung mga hindi pa nababasa yung libro.

--=+=--

Thank God for the book, it compensated the movie's suckiness (complain all you want, i won't take it back).

I just finished the book. Despite me reading in during work hours and my girlfriend who is partly asar with what i'm doing, I say, it's all worth it.

Despite reports for that early Tuesday pirated release, I still want to get my hands on a book. It is much sweeter to read. To strain your eyes on a book. And to make your neck hurt like there's no tomorrow.

Thank you JKR for that wonderful journey. And that last part wasn't really necessary (i really felt na pinilit mo lang sya... =) )

--=+=--

Buti na lang.

There's Transformers the movie.

A very nice movie.

--=+=--

What else?

I've been really busy lately.

Korni noh?

7.07.2007

Of a non-work weekend.

Happy 777!

Eh?

--=+=--

They're finally showing Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader locally. Check it out on QTV. Host is Jeff Foxworthy of the Blue Collar series (i'm it is Jeff). We should have that same format and same show here too. Sureness, some of the questions would really be hard. Especially Filipino.

Pangatnig, pang-ukol, pangngalan, pangkalikasan... bleh.

--=+=--

What do you usually do when you're doing nothing in the office? Surf the net. And what if you have been placed in that stupid top ten? Scratch your toes and pick your nose.

--=+=--

Uaap season 70 (or 71?) officially starts now. Err... earlier.

7.05.2007

Of another office entry.

My day is not working right. Just drank an iced tea that tasted beer.

I forgot this one. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gino Magtoto. Thanks for the invite and the cupcakes.

That's me. There. At the 8th spot. I don't get this. Inclusive dates are June 25 - 28, 2008. Now, here's the funny part. I wasn't in the office during the 25th and the 28th. I'm the man.

--=+=--

Six days before John Cena's este the HP movie.

7.04.2007

Of one of those days.

Have you had this feeling that the world is against you and you know you don't have any powers to change it? You just have to accept what's happening and have this big bubble of patience floating on your head.

That's why recently I don't need to fight back (lightly, I could fight back hard though). It is not worth it.

--=+=--

Don't you just hate it when one problem occur and then another one comes and you don't even know that it's happening. And then, when they pile up, you know and you don't know how to fix it.

I need to find a partner. I need to do this Dog Day Afternoon style. Wait, I might end up like Dick and Jane. Damn.

--=+=--

This is a good month for movies.

7.03.2007

Of this week.

Today is Harry Potter month. Be Sirius.

--=+=--

Just seen Zsa Zsa Z Ze Muzeekal last Sunday. That play is effing hilarious. Despite the drama parts, it compensated the whole show. It was really worth it. And the movie version is so sucky, it should be part of the scum of the universe. Eh?

--=+=--

I am blaming Markku for making me an addict for String Quartet. I currently have 58 tributes. Yey!

--=+=--

I recommend eating in Teriyaki. They have these colorful maki's. We ate Uncle Sam's Maki and it was really unique. And there's more, you can grill meat too!

--=+=--

Around 5 years ago, I was able to make it to the top ten in my former work. I was at the ten spot with the person who has 0 aux minutes/hours.

And now, I am part of that top ten again. Top 8 internet users. Nice no? That's why I'm on a multiply-atus lately.

--=+=--

Happy Anniversary baby! Cheers! Iloveyou so much! Mwah!

6.27.2007

Of a wolverine.

This post is not about logan.

--=+=--

It's the other one. The rabid one. This is indeed a sad news to the sports entertainment industry.

Why is it that these "stars" have these controversial deaths? Remember Eddie? And now Benoit dies with his family of double-murder suicide.

Buti pa si Andrei the Giant, at least heart attack lang. Or Ultimate Warrior who died of exploded muscles.

Wait. Ultimate is still alive and he is currently a somekinda pastor. Greedy person.

--=+=--

I'm tired of politics and i'm really tired of the same **** players in showbiz.

There's nothing much in television. And thank God for movies. At least there're something interesting in that area.

Speaking of movies, we're going to see a sixty or seventy year old Indy by next year. From what I heard, his octogenarian dad is not going to reprise his role anymore. Awww. Wouldn't it be nice to see a Ford-Connery tandem once again.

6.16.2007

Of a work week.

I'm feeling something. A serious entry maybe? Hhmm... Me ask pareng Yoda.

"Yo! Da!" "How ya doin?' (oops, wrong line). "Me ask life is what and why worth living, for?"

And i'm feeling something right now, a seriously stupid entry.

--=+=--

I'm always thinking about our society. Our society that tries to adapt to the first-world. And this is the same society who's still in its third-word stage. It may sound pathetic but where else would we go? Who would we mimic? It's not that i'm hating our society but there's no us anymore. Am I making any sense? No. Do I know the point with what i'm saying? No.

--=+=--

I remember this ballpen. A long ballpen. It was called Kilometrico. It should've been called Dekada. Or... (Wait! I don't know the Filipino term for Century... Decade... dekada... hhmm... Century...) Senturarya. Why? So that that ballpen could've stood with the test of time.

*groan*

Buti pa ang Pilot.

--=+=--

I love Windows 98. I always have this habit of watching the screen when it defrags (Disk Defragmentation po yan). I don't know why. I could spend all day watching it and I know I wouldn't learn or gain anything from it, but I still watch it.

Just like our local programs.

Of an office.

I've been watching episodes of The Office lately and I admit i'm hooked with this show. The show is really funny. Really. Steve Carell rules!

--=+=--

While watching this show, I was thinking of 'The Office' Pinoy version. I think it is awesome if they made a local version of this. But of course, make it season-like. 22 episodes for 2007 is enough.

6.09.2007

Of francis.

I opt not to call St. Francis its name. It's not proper.

--=+=--

Anyhoo, dropped by francis bldg yesterday and there were these new dvds. New design? Probably.

If you're looking for those old movies that you want to watch and you're gambling that they have a copy. Go on. Try it. You'll only lose time.

I saw And Now For Something Completely Different. Bought it. And Leia, hopefully my Python cd's are still safe with you.

Baby, sorry if I wasn't able to buy you the cds. I'll try to look again for copies later.

And here's a winner. There was this guy who returned a dvd telling the seller that he got the wrong movie. The movie should be The Pagemaster but what he got was the first HP movie. If you take a closer look at the cover, it really says

"The Pagemaster and the Sorcerer's Stone"

If I only had a picture of it.

Imagine? Macauley Culkin as Harry Potter? Lupet.

Of a sicky day.

I just recovered from a horrible ailment.

*just joking*

I still consider it horrible. A bad tooth affecting the whole body system making it a flu in the end. And to make it all better, I was absent yesterday. Hooray.

--=+=--

So, what did I do at home? Little Britain marathon.

Have you ever been bitten by an ant or had allergies in the skin (emphasis on in). That's how I described myself yesterday. At first, I found the series corny, exaggerated, and too-Monty-Pythonish-slash-Bean. But, as the series progressed, I can't stop watching it. I am now an official fan of LB.

It shouldn't be watched by conservatives and minors. Due to very lewd and graphic content (hello Philippine standards). If you happen to want to see some slapstick and racial humour, then you're very welcome to watch it.

How can I forget Vicky but-yes-but-no-but-yes-but-no, wheelchair Andy, and Anne?

Eh? Eh? Ehh?

--=+=--

I wasn't the only sick person at home last weekend. My dad was the other victim of grim. We found out that he had cyst in one of his kidneys. Not a stone but a cyst. Thank God for yesterday. We found out that we don't have to worry the cyst and worry about the old problem, his prostrate. It's hard to be an only child. And most of the people who are close to me knows that I can talk about death with ease (i'm ready to die too). And if my father goes, I know my mom too.

I guess the only power that I can gain for the moment are prayers and close friends (that includes you baby). Depression is not an option.

--=+=--

Going politics... I think we're still paying for what happened before. We are still lacking good leaders. So, where should all these good leaders be?

Six feet under.

--=+=--

"Buti pa sa America. At least si Paris Hilton nakulong."

6.04.2007

Of hell.

I feel hell. I'm sicky sick-sick right now. Might be caused by that stoopid tooth. Damn you tooth. Die!

--=+=--

I'm doing Harry Potter stuff again. Preparing for that coming book 5 and book 7. I'm expecting a well-made book 7 movie and a fantastic book 7 ending.

Kudos to Jkr.

--=+=--

Currently watching Blade Runner.

5.31.2007

Of a Brit.

Suddenly, i'm going Brit.

Will watch The Office (Brit edition), Little Britain, and a few Benny Hill movies.

Oh gosh!

--=+=--

Stupid weather. Sorry. I hate the weather right now. Despite me bringing an umbrella and a jacket everyday. I'm not ready.

Rain sucks (If it rains at night).

--=+=--

Watched Shrek 3 alone two days ago. I find it somehow funny. But kids won't get the jokes. Very adult. The scene with Rosemary's Baby. The scene with six million dollar man. The scene with Live and Let Die.

And who the hell is Arthur Pendragon? Mixing it with Lancelot. (That scene is quite weird though except for the Worchester part... C'mon).

The dronkeys are fairly cute and probably Shrek's kids.

And Snow White is very scary.

5.29.2007

Of a Bohol trip volume 1.

All things in here are all based on my experiences only. It doesn't affect the whole... you know my point.

Woke up very early to get to the Domestic Airport early (of course). This is the very first time that I rode an airplane. I was really really really excited. Imagine all the excitement that I had. Imagine lang a.

What I learned: Place all metallic objects in your hand-carry bag. As in everything including cellphone. It would be much easier for you. There is a terminal fee. Don't fret, you have no choice. =) {Terminal Fee: Php 200 pax}. Bring something to read or bring an mp3 player during the wait and wait near the "working" tv sets with the schedule of flights. Domestic airport is kinda sucky.

"Look! That's mini-plane."

So, boarding starts and went inside the plane. Still very excited. Very. Read all the manuals.

What I learned: Airplane food is costly. Cebu Pacific offers sandwiches for a hundred bucks and a bottle of C2 for 50 pesos. Eat before you fly.

We entered Cebu and people are starting to remove their seatbelts. What's wrong with you people? Can't you read signs. Oh, I know you don't. And the kids who turned on their players during the flight (or on the tarmac), die! (that includes to all the cellphone users too!). Picked-up our luggage (what me and my baby did was to have a roller luggage an a hand-carry for a trip) and headed outside to get a cab. Our trip to Bohol consists of Manila-Cebu-Tagbilaran and vice-versa. It was cheaper than straight Manila to Tagbilaran. Going back to the cab, we were able to arrive to the seaport. I forgot to add, Cebu airport is awesome.

What I learned: Taxi drivers offer 350 bucks for a ride from the airport to the seaport. Try to go outside or someplace near the airport. You might meet drivers who can offer a cheaper fare (we got it down to 250, colorum though).

Looks big. It ain't.

The original plan was to ride a ferry at around ten in the morning. When we got to Port 1, we ran out of tickets. So, we looked for other options and waited for the 12 pm ferry. We strolled around cebu for the meantime. Dropped by the Magellan's cross and ate brunch at Chowking. And then we went back to the ports.

What I learned: Call the ticketing office for the seaports, know the schedule, price, and the type of vessel (you wouldn't want to go to Tagbilaran in three days via sea). Bring backpacks for travel, it would be easy for you to enter churches in Cebu (may guard kasi). Magellan's cross is not that big, don't expect. Ate Dangsilog at Chowkings, sarap!!!! If you happen to ride by a big bridge take a picture of it, astig yung bridge. Promise!

The decision for the ferries on Port 1 were cancelled. We were spending too much time in Cebu and we don't want that, right? Proceeded to Port 4 for more ferries.

What I learned: We should've ended with Port 4. All the passenger ferries were there. Weesam, Ocean Jet and Supercat. Browse the internet for the schedule. Be sure that you'll be able to catch the check-in time. It's hard to miss the trip. They usually do check-in's before take-offs of ferries.

King Kong's habitat.

After Cebu, Tagbilaran Bohol's seaport. Area feels very familiar, Puerto Galera is that you? Looked for our driver and off we go to our resort.

What I learned: During the short trip from Cebu to Tagbi (around 2 hours max), be sure to go outside the ferry (if you can), and feel nature. You can also take pictures of the islands during the trip. Seaport Tagbi, be sure that you've contacted somebody to fetch you from the port to the resort. If you don't have that, you'll be having problems (scenario: you are very hungry and you are still looking for a vehicle to go to the resort).

Traveled for around 40 more minutes and arrived at our destination, Amorita resort, Panglaw Island. Here's the catch, the resort is in its soft opening. No landscape, no fancy buildings, not much yet. only the room that we'll be staying, lobby, some villas, an infinity pool, and a semi-built cafe by the ruins. We got the place cheap, around 1500 per day =).

What I learned: Boholanios are really nice. Very corteous and tourist-oriented. They always have this smile and that could've be a big factor on why we had a nice time in Bohol. An infinity pool is a pool is an optical illusion of a pool connecting to the beach.

The beach (or what's right of it).

Around 3 when we arrived. Trooped down to the beach and tried to familiarize ourselves of the area. Asked around for the Dolphin tour and the land tour. We ended up with manong chuva (forgot his name, wait... i don't even know his name) and we got a deal for the land tour (1800 bucks for seven destinations). We didn't pursue the dolphin tour, found out that the dolphins were on strike. And then we ate dinner and then swam in the pool and then lights off.

What I learned: Tour the area. Try to talk to locales (ask and they will answer, Tagalog is fine). I noticed that Bohol is also a diving haven, it would be nice if you have an agenda. Let's say your first trip to Bohol consists of Land tours, second trip for swimming, and third trip for diving and snorkeling (vacation haven talaga). Don't forget to haggle. Hotel land tour costs 3000 and we ended up with 1800 in the process. Regarding the dolphins, I never got a positive answer for this one, from what I heard and read, mostly the dolphins weren't there. Regarding food, it wasn't that fabulous (sorry) or is it because i'm comparing this with the food in Puerto. We also had a problem with their cooking. Patience is really a virtue. And if you really want good food, you'll really wait for it. The longer the food is cooked, the better. We only ate on those "cheap-looking" eateries, it could've been different if we ate high-falluting.

Fun Fact: No heavy typhoons in Bohol! Hooray!

Tag time.

I've been tagged by lola dadaprof.

Instructions: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

1. I had ADHD when I was a kid (probably up until now, much milder I suppose).
2. I believe in karma.
3. I easily cry.
4. I was an altar boy up to the ripe age of 14.
5. I've been a consorte in a santacruzan for five times (might be more than that number).
6. I currently have MP3's numbering to 15000 + (might be more).
7. My mom was pushing me to be a priest. Look where I am now =).

I tag bert, beejay, erlaine, hana grace, markku, milan, and sharyn.

5.22.2007

Of locales.

Condolence to the families of Kuya Ceasar and Yoyoy Villame.

--=+=--

Anyhoo, are we really that stupid? I mean, Ogie told everyone that he loves Regine and that was it?

That's so anti-climactic.

--=+=--

Thank God for that 45 dollar per peso. But why is it that gas prices are still high? What happened to the rollback? Hello gas stations?

--=+=--

Don't you hate it when you know what people are thinking and you try to be polite with everything? You just want to bitch out but you know you'll end up losing. Patience is the key baby.

--=+=--

If you ever see me drop dead anytime by now due to heart failure, let me be. Thank you for the second-hand smoke.

5.21.2007

Of bags.

I just found these bags cute for little kids.

--=+=--

What's wrong with me...

5.19.2007

Of an H and a P.

Come October i'll buy this, I'll sell books two and six (and seven). This is really costly, but this is a one time deal for all HP-fanatics out there.

5.17.2007

Of another politic entry.

Sadness. I just realized that I've spent some time in choosing the right candidates when my ballot would end up in the cheater's area.

Sayang ang effort.

--=+=--

And another blazing day in the office...

Hot! Hot! Hot!

5.16.2007

Of an american history.

Currently watching American History X and that's one powerful killing scene. What Norton did was he told the person to "bite" the sidewalk and then *pow*, he kicked him at the back of his head. I just love those angry movies once in a while. Sadly though, I didn't catch the start of the movie.

--=+=--

I need to laugh. My keen eye ain't seein' those funny experiences anymore. I feel like hate is everywhere. Chill out people. Or maybe it's just me...

--=+=--

Maybe it's me. I believed I changed. I hope it's not for the worse. I just don't want to be at the losing end.

--=+=--

Going to politics, looks like we are having a failure of election. This damn current mayor of ours cheated at his very best. There were some people power going on in our municipality and lo and behold, he called for a press conference. God, does this person know the karma he'll be having?

--=+=--

Speaking of karma, My Name Is Earl is a good show. It's not that funny but the concept of being bad to being good is a nice thing.

And I know that this year is the year of culmination. We are actually paying what we reaped (or was it sow) the past year/s. I have to change back to this "good" person. I know i'm not bad but I really feel that something's wrong with me. I don't have a PK-meter for this and I could only rely my house as my charger.

I'm not depressed. Yet.

--=+=--

This heat is killing me.

5.12.2007

Of goodbyes and hellos.

Ooohh! I just hate it when a certain tertiary eye opens from out of nowhere. I kept on glancing left and right. No, I don't hate what's happening, I'm not scared. I'm just not in the mood for this. Oh 6th floor, you are opening for me.

--=+=--

Here're some random pictures from the "gala night" yesterday.

To Tina, Sherman, and Vazil. Thanks for everything! You'll be surely missed.

--=+=--

18 months na lang... *snicker*

5.09.2007

Of yesterday's traffic.

The traffic yesterday was caused by a party-list that was trying to gain the longest caravan for a party-list (?) in the Guinness book of world records...

...in a related news, the Philippines won with the worst traffic jam causing a follow-up win for the most curses in a minute in an area of a mile radius.

Nah.

5.08.2007

Of an office entry.

I "hate" work right now.

See the quotes? It's not that I really hate my work... I might hate the workplace =).

As much as we want to work our butts off, we can't.

--=+=--

So, if work stuff doesn't work. What can we do? Internet stuff of course. But it's too nakakasawa.

--=+=--

So, what to do next... I guess sleeping while working is the next best thing.

Ho-hum.

5.07.2007

Of last week.

Wishing the newlyweds, great and bright future.

I just love it when the priest said, "Be honest with everything". So should every relationship.

--=+=--

--=+=--

Excited with new episodes of Heroes and Deathnote.

--=+=--

Heard two batches of Isang Tanong candidates and I found the candidates last week interesting than this week. Last night's guests were prepared.

Except for Wood.

--=+=--

Twelve more candidates to go (?). Wouldn't it be somehow unfair if they show that third episode this coming Sunday given that Monday is election day?

5.01.2007

Of some mindful things.

Eh?

Nevermind the title.

--=+=--

I've been more serious recently and I don't know what happened to me. I should've tried to look at the brighter side of life. I should absorb my mom's positive energy once again. Imagine this, she just won 3 gift packs from Palmolive a few weeks ago and just last week she just won a gift pack from "boses ng masa".

So, if you want a bottle of Patis, you can holler at me.

--=+=--

I might vote for Bautista, who is he? I don't even know him until I watched the debate last Sunday (?). I'm just wondering, why thirteen candidates only? Would they have a part 2 for that one. (It is a given that when you include all the 36 candidates, the show would probably end at around six in the morning). I wanna see the other candidates talk.

And Mr. Edong shouldn't have cited his son's credentials on tv (He was a Harvard graduate...uh-huh, like I care).

--=+=--

Today's Spidey 3. I wanna watch. I wanna watch. I wanna watch it on the big screen. Despite the change of the Venom storyline, who cares, as long as this isn't one of those Hulk + Ghost Rider type of movie.

--=+=--

I'm Boholexcited na.
