Of a right for their royalty.

mood: wheezy

i don't even know what wheezy means

I'm not sure if I had a splendid time last night. You see, we (me, my baby, Bing, Joy, and Lod) went to MTV's right to rule concert. As usual, the mtv people made the program and i somehow find it sucky. I really have no right to complain, i got the tickets for free --> thanks to Bing and Joy, but is it really like that when mtv or any big production or whatever plans a concert?

I think that due to the fact that the concert is free, the people who'll watch the concert has no right to choose what they want. Yes. For obvious reasons. You don't pay for it, you don't have any right to complain, etc.

As usual, the enterpreneural skills of the ordinary Filipino has once again excelled in his field. This is about the Pinoy scalpers. They were selling a ticket for 50 bucks a piece but to my knowledge the tickets should be complimentary. Isn't it ironic since the concert is about anti-piracy and hence there are pirates all around the vicinity. I know tickets and audio cd's aren't alike. But gaining profit in bad taste is still not good.

Another thing, I just wonder if most of the people who were present in the concert are buyers of the original discs.

I just hope that The Fort will make it easier for us commuters next time we go there.

Of a few thoughts II.

mood: sorry

To my baby: I'm sorry for the phone. I promise I won't mess up with your stuff again. I'll try to look for a replacement. Sorry again.

I love you!

I had a great time last Sunday (wha... wait... Sunday? Yes... Sunday). I bought a Harry Potter book and my baby gave me an I Spy book. What is an I Spy book? This book is a look-for-hidden-things book. Just like a Where's Waldo book. But this is better. Even in my age I would still be able to enjoy this book. Hard to find things would really test you about every aspect of the emotional mind. And patience is the biggest effort in this book (well except of course being thrifty because this book costs around 700 pesos a piece). This is a good gift to anybody. Try it now!

There's an lj site wherein Harry Potter is drawn in a Powerpuff style. Will post some of my faves here next time.

To my baby: Please take care of our babies. Never leave them out of your sight. I also hope that you'll lend me your 3650. Awww... You really love me. Mwah!

I miss you. Mwah!

I'm so mushed fotatoe today...

Of an Hp6 reaction.

mood: sad

If you happen to be a Harry Potter fan and you wouldn't want any spoilers, stop reading!

Anyway, the PHP event at Fully Booked proved to be a success. Seen a lot of celebrities: Mac Cuan, Paolo and Susie Abrera, Jose Javier Reyes, and Lyn Ching-Pascual. Of all the celebrities that i've seen in the mall, Lyn is the only Harry Potter amongst them all. She even joined our activities to the point of writing down her email address to our mini-Harry Potter activity/game.

Zooming in on the book.

I could say that this is one of the saddest book i've read in my entire life. I'm still affected with what happened to Dumbledore. I guess this was a good call for Rowling. She really killed a main character in book 6 to get the ball rolling. But I find it odd. It looks like Dumbledore knows he is going to die. And the part where Albus is asking to spare his life from Snape, it is quite blurry. I don't get it. Maybe book 7 will give the answers for these inquiries.

Harry and Ginny? Hermione and Ron? I find these somehow obvious from the previous books but a lot of Harry Potter shippers are thinking otherwise. And what happened to Cho Chang, she wasn't even really placed a major character in this book. That was a brave change by Rowling.

What happened to Slughorn during the time when the death eaters entered Hogwarts? He should have done something. Old age perhaps?

A dramatic first and second chapter. Now, this is the Harry Potter series. Just like book 1. It had me hooked until the end.

Snape. What the hell? We had to keep on guessing until book 6. Now, one of the wisest moves by Rowling. This should be a good war. Voldemort as the king and Snape as the queen. I guess in book 7, Harry has to get pass through Snape before Voldie.

Maybe that's all for now. I'm still lamenting on HM's burial.

Two years pa? Hay...

Animo La Salle!

The Archer's first game of the 68th season started with a loud bang. Too bad for Black's boys. No offense with the Eagles but they played really bad. I was joking with my mom and my gf that the sophomore and rookie players of Ateneo were recruited from the slums of Katipunan. Have you seen them play? My God. A barangay team would win against them. They have to prove themselves at the end of the first round so that I would eat all what I just had said.

What's up with that 8 (or 10) fouls for La Salle and zero fouls for Ateneo? Just because Dlsu had a commanding lead doesn't mean that the referees would take sides. I heard the shout of "luto!" even with La Salle's 20 + point advantage against Ateneo. I just find it very wrong. In fairness, La Salle had a lot of "gulang" against Ateneo. Kumbaga, talagang ginamitan sila ng larong kalye ng La Salle. I guess the new ballers of Ateneo has a lot to learn to earn the final four slot.

What happened to our government? There's no hope for us. Too bad we have to wait for five generations to be in the map again. Mas magaling pang umarte ang mga lecheng politiko na ito kesa sa mga artista natin e.

And who suffers? Us... US! Who else?

Are we paying for the sins of our forefathers? I hope I'm wrong.
