Of a gruelling weekend.

mood: just awake

My choir barkada had an outing this past weekend. The experience was forgettable.

Whenever your going to plan an outing, you usually plan it weeks or months before the said event. And us choir who are good planners, we planned three weeks before our outing. So, we called the place (read: Lake Villa in Rizal) and asked if they have reservations regarding their rooms and cottages. The person who answered the phone told us that we don't need to reserve the place. We just have to go there and close our eyes and point a room. And wherever our fingers point, that'll be our room. That's great. So, we assumed that the place doesn't really have any reservations. We're good with that. That's okay for us. As long as we have a room and we don't need to place our papag near the swimming pool, we're okay. Just to be sure, ate Jerlene and ate Marose called the said place every week. Even before our departure here at home, they called them. They told us that we don't have to worry. And we don't need to reserve any tree, shower, or videoke machine.

When we got there. The place was really packed. There was this event (a debutant part) in the private part of the resort. And when we checked out the rooms, we were lucky. Two rooms were left. Room number 6 and room number 7. That's fine with us. As long that there is a room available, we're fine. So, there was this guy who had the keys for the empty rooms. Room number 6 had no flourescent light outside. So, we asked the key-guy if we could stay at room number 7. And to our surprise, the room is RESERVED for tomorrow. I wish I had hearing problems when i heard this. But no, everybody heard it right.

Obviously, everybody was upset (except of course the employees of the resort). But since it's 11 in the evening and we want to enjoy the rest of our outing. We just stayed in that god-damn room number 6 (to our delight, they placed a flourescent outside). And to add a better evening. The aircon was growling.

I guess we won't be returning to that place any time soon.
