There was a scene in Heroes that really made me cringe.
This can be found in Episode Godsend.

Elder Petrelli and that Japanese hunk conversing...
Japanese Hunk: You were flying... (with matching hands zooming across his face...)
Elder Petrelli: Make it lower (pertaining to Japanese' voice)
Japanese Hunk: (lowers hand and then made that zooming motion again...)
